We’re looking for an exceptional product strategy leader to help define, create, and implement a powerful product strategy for the SMB business, and collaborate with top executives in the SAP SMB Team. You’ll represent and advocate for our product point of view, bring research and competitive intelligence to drive decisions, and advocate product/business strategies to cross-functional leaders.
In this role, the strategy you help establish will shape our long-term product roadmaps for each of our businesses, including our buy / build / partnership initiatives. To be successful, you’ll need to be savvy about working in a matrixed work environment, comfortable delivering against a diverse set of goals, and effective at gaining support from multiple stakeholders across the company. This role will be based in Palo Alto or South San Francisco, CA
The Ideal Candidate has:
5-8 years of experience in product management (preferably at a Fortune 500 company or fast growing startup with over $50 million in yearly revenue) / investment banking / management consulting with technology companies
Product management leadership roles, with solid experience in building a cross-functional business/product cases with measurable results
Experience with buy / build / partner analysis for businesses and products
A propensity to be highly creative, but with an insights-driven and results-oriented approach
A strong executive presence: poised, articulate, and self-motivated.
Excellent written and communication skills
Preferred: quantitative experience with business modeling and research
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred
