The Head of Field Marketing is responsible for leading marketing support for the Field, our 16,000 Financial Advisors across 600 branch offices in the US. This includes managing marketing programs and resources for Financial Advisors and continuing to evolve the offerings in a digital environment. The candidate will lead marketing functions supporting Field Management initiatives as well as partner with regional management to drive visibility in local markets. The candidate will also lead marketing’s participation in FA recruiting efforts and training programs. Role requires up to 50% travel.
Responsibilities:
-Manage programs and platforms that deliver marketing resources to Financial Advisors, including local advertising, client materials, marketing consultations/writing services, and our client lifestyle magazine
-Leverage various internal and external marketing channels to drive awareness and business development for Financial Advisors, including partnering closely with National Sales and the Field Support organization
-Develop modern marketing offerings for Financial Advisors, including working with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to update policies & procedures
-Collaborate with Talent Management and Practice Management to integrate marketing with Field training initiatives
-Partner with regional field management to identify and activate local marketing opportunities
-Analyze the competition for trends, changes, weaknesses to assess impact and opportunities
-Manage team of approximately 15 FTEs who work closely with Field Management and Financial Advisors to develop marketing solutions and content

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and Skills Required:
-B.A. or B.S. with a concentration in Marketing, Communications or English a plus
-A minimum of 15 years of marketing and/or communications experience in the financial services industry
-Knowledge of legal and compliance policies related to financial service industry a plus
-Experience with leveraging multiple marketing channels
-Strong ability to communicate, present to large audiences, and interact with senior people
-Ability to prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary
-Ability to identify issues and trends in order to anticipate change and provide recommended comprehensive solutions
-Ability to organize, manage and prioritize the team’s workflow and assignments in a deadline oriented environment
