As the Sr. Director for PM for Transactions & Post-Transactions, you will own the core of the purchase funnel and reimagine how we engage with and delight customers post-sale as a commerce platform.
Be responsible for setting the product and technology vision, design and execution in all areas of payments, domestic & international shipping, conflict resolution, member-to-member communication, and customers support
Develop and own a strategy for partnering with external payment providers to help us meet customer needs; successfully execute partnerships; manage and maintain strategic relationships.

Work across all aspects of eBay’s product organization including, senior leadership, to drive alignment in vision and product strategy for payments and transactions across eBay.

Own the distributed commerce strategy and experiment with new channels to buy & sell with partners like Facebook.

Build a plan and approach for domestic vs. international shipping logistics in order make the process more seamless for the customer and more efficient and transparent for all parties involved.

Partner with our Customer Support organization to design and test new service models that shift our engagement with customers from reactive to proactive.

This product leader will define a vision & strategy, build the roadmap, set clear mid-long term goals, articulate near-term customer value, work alongside design & engineering to execute on use cases that make shopping and selling fun and easy. This person isn’t afraid to get deep into data but can make sound decisions despite ambiguity and data limitations.

He/she will be instrumental in driving customer-centric thinking and best practices into the product development and quality engineering processes, and will partner closely with Engineering and Design leadership to create compelling breakthrough experiences for our customers.

He/she is comfortable working in a fast paced environment with a bent for getting things done. Primary Responsibilities:

Lead product vision, strategy, requirements gathering, and execution for eBay customer experience.

Partner closely with Engineering, User Experience, User Research, Analytics, Marketing, Partners, and other key stakeholders to deliver a differentiated shopping and selling experience.

Build and own a roadmap, prioritizing key features and functionalities.

Obsess over details to achieve simplicity.

Translate objectives into specific tactical plans.

Build and lead a strong product team.



Job Requirements:

12+ years of direct product management experience; including people management.

Demonstrated product leadership experience in transactions, payments, shipping, and/or post sale support

Ability to develop strong internal and external partnerships to achieve product goals

Track record of launching successful and respected consumer mobile products.

Strong drive and curiosity to come up with new ideas, identify opportunities, and create vision to drive the business forward.

Passion for delivering experiences that delight customers.

Enthusiastic about the latest payments, mobile, commerce, consumer internet trends and emerging technologies.

Experience with agile development process

Exceptional presentation and communication skills.

Technical background; Payments and/or Shipping experience a plus.
