BA’s Data Science team shapes state-of-the-art new analytic capabilities to drive business transformation. The Data Science Customer Analytics role is a subject matter expert working to guide the evolution of Pfizer’s commercial model globally through the application of advanced analytics to guide customer strategy for healthcare professionals (HCPs). This role is responsible to guide strategic direction for the organization through extensive cross functional partnership and identify, evaluate, synthesize and deploy new analytical approaches to across Pfizer for customer analytics. Example analytics include interactivity/visualization of complex datasets and the implementation of new approaches for predictive analytics, machine learning and network analysis. The role requires strong technical and business acumen.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and evolution of strategic analytical frameworks that enable a Customer Centric commercial model for Pfizer’s promotional engagement with healthcare practitioners (HCP) globally
Serve as the BA single point of contact for Customer Centric Analyses and proactively engage functional and BU leaders on strategic opportunities
Introduce state-of-the-art predictive and prescriptive analytical capabilities to anticipate customer needs and behaviors from complex structured/unstructured information
Enhance Pfizer’s customer analytics toolkit through development of integrated 360 products and the introduction of metrics and frameworks for customer-level planning
Guide the creation and evolution of actionable above-brand customer segments using advanced analytical methods and structured/unstructured data
Lead the organizational adoption of new frameworks and approaches in partnership with business and functional stakeholders including Commercial Operations, Digital Strategy and Business Technology.
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced analytics background required with experience in the application to strategic decision-making; prior experience in customer analytics highly beneficial
Business consulting experience required with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to design and lead execution of innovative analyses within a matrixed cross-functional setting
Ability to leverage judgment and experience to recommend the appropriate analytical methods and level of complexity
Strong communication and influencing skills with proven ability to build strategic alignment across all levels of the organization, from senior executives through individual teams
Ideally, in depth understanding of the current Pharmaceutical promotion model; familiarity with analyses related to the execution of commonly used tactics such as Field Force Detailing, Sampling and Multi-channel Marketing
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
Minimum 10+ years of industry experience required
Experience required in managing large, complex projects with multi-functional team members
