The Uber IT team is looking for an Enterprise Applications leader, who will report directly to the Head of Tech Services. As the Director of the Applications team, you will lead the teams responsible for Business applications, Collaboration applications and Enterprise applications. This position is highly visible and requires interfacing with all levels of the company. As a team leader you will need to understand Uber’s business goals, and growth plans and drive implementation while developing excellent partnerships with the business leaders.
Create and deliver multi-year Enterprise Applications roadmap for Uber
Be responsible for leading the Uber Enterprise Applications stack and help teams establish their strategic direction
Work closely with business partners (e.g., Legal, Business Development, Eng Security, etc.) to understand and define requirements, objectives and processes to drive strategic application efforts with other teams
Help decide on a balance between internally developed software and systems and external (build versus buy analysis)
Define what an appropriate team structure looks like at Uber today and in the future as we grow in scale and complexity

Experience of operating within a extremely fast growing global IT organization with a proven ability to deliver against initiatives.
10+ years of Enterprise Applications and management experience
Experience scaling a global organization collaborating with business partners and engineering teams
The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external vendors
Proven ability to manage complex projects and resources (people, costs, and time) across multiple teams
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Excellent leadership and mentorship skills
Bonus points if you have experience with G Suite, Salesforce, Jira/Confluence, Workday and Oracle
