Facebook is looking for a Producer to join the art and animation team focused on developing and shipping best-in-class creative expressions and communications for Messenger. The Producer will establish and maintain operational procedures and tools for the creative team, work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and consistent communication between all key stakeholders, as well as identify and source external creative teams and artists to support product. The Producer role requires broad knowledge of design and development processes, excellent communication and project management skills. This position is full-time and based in Menlo Park, CA.
Work closely with Creative Director to set global strategy and goals for creative development efforts
Drive sourcing of global artist outreach and partnership opportunities, including management of vendor and strategic partnerships relationships
Analyze sticker performance metrics to strategize and maintain global Stickers ongoing library
Establish and maintain project production schedules to ensure a smooth end-to-end development plan that meets product goals and quality bar, and ensures that all art assets are delivered on time and implemented to spec
Identify and secure resources to keep project on-track
As POC for team communication, establish clear communication channels and process across creative and XFN teams, including PMM, legal and policy
Schedule, manage, track and address XFN feedback and stakeholder approvals
Predict and/or identify roadblocks and obstacles, and proactively establish meetings or integration points between teams to address and resolve them
Work closely with XFN product and engineering teams to unlock future possibilities that marry emerging technologies and creative expression
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years experience in a Producer role or equivalent
Experience leading projects with teams of 8 or more cross-discipline members
Experience with product development process, particularly working with engineering teams
Experience working with external vendors (individual artists and agencies) including sourcing and contracting, as well as defining schedules, assessing proposed production pipelines, and managing assets as they are delivered
Experience establishing and/or managing production pipelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, and ability to identify problems and work towards solutions
Communication skills and a “visual vocabulary” (should be able to articulate design direction to artists and non-artists alike)
Knowledge with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other design packages
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience in high quality AR/VR pipelines
