The Head of Payments Pricing will lead the overall pricing function across all of Intuit's payment products. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end pricing process for the most important pricing initiatives and developing strategic pricing recommendations to be presented to senior leadership.

Responsibilities include:
Set vision, prioritization and roadmap for payments pricing to improve customer acquisitions, revenue, and the customer experience
Leverage intimate industry expertise to ensure market competitiveness and compliance to payments regulations
Analyze, monitor and actively manage interchange rates, discount rates, and net spread across our entire payments portfolio
Develop and manage ongoing relationships across the payments industry to minimize Intuit’s average cost for payment transaction
Use financial and competitive insights gained through rigorous analysis and research to achieve alignment between price, value, and business objectives
Build consensus among cross-functional partners and influence decision making within executive-level audiences
Develop strong partnerships across cross-functional leaders
Effectively influence decision-making with executive-level audience
Mentor and develop a small high-performing team of pricing professionals
Qualifications
Successful candidates should have a minimum of 10-15+ years of business experience within a top tier payment service provider, gateway and/or Merchant Acquiring Institution within a product and/or strategy role
Knowledge of payments processing and industry (e.g. Knows the relationship and inner workings of issuers, acquirers, card schemes, etc.)
Knowledge of pricing options around payments (e.g. discount rates, month lee fees, monthly minimums, authorization fees, etc.)
Knowledge of interchange rates, discount rates, and other fees related to payment processing
Experience managing relationship with processor platforms (e.g., Chase Paymentech, First Data, etc.) a plus
Ability to develop and manage all strategic elements to pricing decisions and opportunities — e.g. Can be a visionary for determining where payments pricing can be used as a strategic lever to drive benefits across the broader Quickbooks ecosystem
Ability to effectively work across and influence within a highly matrixed organization
Experience providing leadership to a high performing team, mentoring and developing team members
