The Risk Manager will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and ongoing support of a risk management system for more than $700 Billion of client AUM. This role requires the ability to work with vendor representatives and internal stakeholders to recommend automated and scalable solutions. The Risk Manager will need to be comfortable with large data sets and take initiative and responsibility to drive tasks forward. The ability to reach conclusions quickly and consistently will be critical to being successful in this role.
· Project Management skills
· Strong analytical understanding of financial products, including sensitivity analysis and product-specific risk measures
· Excellent communication skills, specifically comfortable interacting with senior personnel on highly sensitive issues
· Team player with a strong work ethic and high level of maturity
· Proficiency in SQL or VBA a plus
· CFA or FRM or progress towards one of the two a plus
