The HBO Director of Sales will be an integral part of the distribution of HBO’s award winning original programming. This person will be responsible for growing HBO’s sales across all verticals within several key retailers. This position will report directly to the VP of Sales.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately forecast revenue targets and sales goals for areas of responsibility.
Proactively develop, implement, execute, and monitor business plans to drive revenue and achieve targets.
Effectively use trade funds on areas of responsibility to maximize base sales and drive incremental promotional activity.
Establish cadence of meetings with vendor manager teams across key retailers.
Create, foster, and maintain relationships across divisions within HBO and client teams.
Provide accurate forecasts to HBO and client teams.
Collaborate with cross functional internal marketing teams on marketing, pricing recommendations, promotional opportunities, operations affairs, and specific franchise plans.
Monitor performance of HBO’s titles on a by-franchise basis.
Provide ad-hoc project support with an adaptive, on-the-fly positive attitude.
Run reports and provide analysis on revenue/subs
Stay informed of the latest trends or shifts in the industry.
Direct and lead a support team
REQUIREMENTS
Results- Oriented; Driven by goal setting process and annual planning process with clients
A minimum of 5 years professional experience. Account management is a must.
Strong Excel skills. Proficiency in Power Point and Word.
Analytical.
