Box is looking for an experienced Product leader to join our close-knit and start-up like team inside Box to help drive this change. The Director is a player-coach role and will serve as the driver for the vision and execution of cloud content management in applications built on the Box Platform. This role touches all parts of Box and will require you to engage with business and product leaders across the company, including at the executive level.
Responsibilities
Engage with customers and developers to understand their use cases, the types of apps they might build on Box, and the architecture of those apps
Understand the developer funnel and what the metrics are telling you about how our product is meeting the needs of developers and the success of the initiatives we are executing.
Investigate and propose areas of investment for our current product
Coach and mentor strong, technical PMs to develop and grow as product managers
Think API first and be a champion for both developer and our customer application end user experience
Collaborate with other product teams to ensure the platform services you own support the needs of both Platform developers and the Box application
Gathering industry and competitive research to inform our product strategy
Flesh out ideas into product specifications, gather feedback, and partner with engineering to build the product
Create and execute product roadmaps and go to market plans to ensure the success of the product
Support Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Business Development through roadmap presentations for customers and partners
Required Skills

Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand best practices and application architecture around mobile and web development using APIs and client SDKs

Familiarity with designing and managing REST APIs

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; Masters or MBA would be a plus
At least 6 years experience in Product Management or highly relevant related roles with evident product manager chops
Demonstrated product leadership in previous role
Proven track record of delivery above and beyond and building amazing products that you are proud of
Bonus: Experience working in fast-paced environments and developing high-growth enterprise platform products
This position is located in our brand new Redwood City headquarters, just a few feet from Caltrain.
