Sr Director Marketing Events Strategy ADP Roseland

ADP is currently seeking a Senior Director, Marketing Events Strategy, which will be responsible for managing event agenda’s which include the theme, design, and content strategy for ADP’s MNC (Multinational Client) business unit. Responsibility will include ADP-led events such as our annual exclusive prospect conference as well as sponsorship at industry, analyst- and partner-led events which cater to the world’s largest, global organizations. Although broad marketing and event management experience is helpful, this position requires specific skills and proven success in leading strategy for these events. Reporting directly to the VP, MNC Marketing, this leader will have responsibility for building the strategy to guide the direction and growth of the ADP MNC events portfolio globally. Success will require close partnership across Sales and Marketing leadership to define the appropriate event strategy for driving audience, pipeline and sponsorship goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the overall strategy of all event related programs, start to finish
Work closely with event, sales and marketing and other leaders to secure the right mix of events based on business goals and priorities
Act as “theme steward” to ensure all aspects of the event, including, content, pre and post event communications, signage, and other multimedia elements (video, print, etc…) materials align appropriately
Develop creative program concepts and precision management of the respective events to ensure overall event content is one-of-a-kind and unmatched.
Partner with:
Creative & Brand to implement consistent branding and effective messaging across events
Marketing Operations to ensure that all campaigns are data driven and are enhanced end-to-end customer lifecycle experiences
Project Management on all deliverables, project plans, schedules and reporting for assigned content programs
Sales Strategy to develop the overall internal education to ensure the readiness of the participating ADP associates
Manage session logistics including (when applicable) session and speaker selection, optimal sizes, durations, formats, and asset availability pre/post events
Collaborate with cross-functional leads to review and vote on external / keynote speaker selection
Provide guidance to content development leads to ensure key topics/products/solutions are covered according to defined goals
Work with the event execution leads on the incorporation of the agenda and associated messaging into the applicable technology platforms including: website, conference app, etc….
Work with other members of the marketing and sales teams to ensure all content information is communicated appropriately through all marketing and sales channels
Develop strong relationships with event team and other cross functional teams
Manage the tradeshow program team to ensure content is leveraged, strategy is sound, and execution is flawless
Collaborate and work with event agency counterparts to maximize value and output
Post event recap and assessment though survey and evaluation management to identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices and process improvements related to the overall management and execution of content-related logistics and operations.
EXPERIENCE:

10-15 years of event marketing and management of large tech industry events with experience attending and coordinating the presence at large annual user conferences or company trade shows
Event-development and production experience
Experience in managing, collaborating and developing positive business relationships with all cross-functional peers and stakeholders in a highly matrixed and global environment
HCM product knowledge beneficial and is a longer-term requirement for the role
Other content development and programming experience (such as proven success managing tradeshow programs or curriculum design/development) preferred and will be helpful in this role
Content management system experience and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Ability to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, work proactively and independently, problem solve, improvise, manage conflicting priorities, and function as part of a team that must perform under pressure
Strategic thinker who can take initiative and think creatively in order to add value and enhance current and new programs
Diplomacy, integrity, and presence that enables you to work effectively at all levels within large organization
Enthusiastic team player with exceptional communication, writing, project management and interpersonal skills
Motivated self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and proven success at meeting deadlines

EDUCATION

Bachelors (Master’s Degree Preferred) in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field
