The Senior Director, Global Events Strategy will play an integral role in the success of the group. Specifically you will be responsible for:
Managing and oversight for our annual events and tradeshow presence in North America
Developing short and long term global event strategy, and lead the NA Marketing organization through an orchestrated evolution
Establishing event goals and objectives by working closely with cross-functional teams, and the Global Events Council
Managing overall event milestones and deliverables, logistics and production timelines to meet deadlines and ensure overall successful execution
Oversight of a ‘no lead left behind program’ to ensure we are leveraging every event to drive pipeline.
Overseeing overall event budgets, invoices and billing, and reconciliation of budget
Overseeing RFP/venue sourcing, contract review and negotiation, AV and technical production, schedule management, and talent sourcing (musical acts and speakers)
Conducting post event reporting and ROI; make recommendations based on results for following years

You will be energetic, flexible and professional. An ideal background will also include:
10+ year’s event management experience with hands on experience producing industry leading, multi-faceted events with multiple touch points
5 years’ experience managing a team
Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills
Experience creating sponsorship packages and activating/managing an onsite program
Understanding of total marketing mix including program management, demand gen, digital, events marketing, social media, and PR
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to effectively deliver in a fast–paced environment
Ability to think of new ways to streamline processes and increase ROI
Excellent reporting and analytics skills
Outstanding negotiation skills and ability to work with vendors to achieve maximum results and minimize costs
Strong understanding of technical production and ways to implement technology into events such as utilizing mobile apps and digital signage
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; conference scheduling software a plus
BA/BS in marketing, communications or similar field required
