Minimum of 10 years related finance/accounting experience of which 3-5 years has been in a management role is preferred.
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical/problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across many levels of management.
Must be detail oriented, highly motivated, organized and be able to make quick decisions without having all of the facts.
Strong background in accounting and finance with experience in operations, commercial negotiations, cost accounting, and understanding forecasting and cost fundamentals preferred.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader who has had relevant management experience leading teams and processes for high risk, deadline driven areas.

This position will be responsible for managing a high performing team of managers and analysts in executing the ongoing process to analyze, consolidate, finalize and communicate finished good purchase costs for all of Apple’s products. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about Apple’s highly innovate products, the costs involved in delivering cutting edge technology to customers all over the world, and Apple’s world class supply chain. This position will partner with various business partners in operations, operations finance, and external suppliers in order to optimize product cost and reports to the WW Procurement Finance Sr. Director.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
Lead team of managers and individual contributors responsible for delivering procurement costs for all Apple branded products
Provide and enforce framework for strong controls to ensure costs are executed aligned to procurement strategies and pricing agreements
Set strategic direction of product cost group including headcount, hiring, systems, process, talent retention and development
Serve as global leader for strategic inventory reconciliation process for supply chain partners
Support business with ad hoc analysis on strategic decisions related to manufacturing costs, inventory management, supply chain, cash flow, and foreign exchange
Build strong working relationships with business partners in procurement, business operations, product readiness, operations finance, GFSS, IS&T, and engineering
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
