The Instagram Global Business Marketing team Designer/Art Director leads design for our campaigns, marketing collateral, iconography, pitch decks, events, programs and more, while contributing to the development of big ideas and creative concepts. This individual must tell the rapidly evolving Instagram story to the market in the most compelling and aesthetically surprising ways possible, building on their natural leadership abilities and design shop/advertising agency background. The Designer/Art Director works with a highly cross-functional team of marketers, product leaders, and business leaders, all working together to bring our ideas to life.
Responsibilities
Produce layouts or rough sketches to communicate initial ideas and then follow through to delivering flawless executions
Take complex concepts and products and bring them to life simply and beautifully
Find and oversee the appropriate photographers and artists to help bring their vision to life
Collaborate with creative partners to concept and create innovative and marketing ideas that can live across channels and platforms
Presentation design for marketing materials, collateral pieces, pitch decks and sales presentations
Manage projects and provide design direction
Ensure Instagram branding is maintained across all business initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of design experience
Must have portfolio link on resume
Portfolio should feature creative development on marketing brochureware, iconography, branding work and marketing campaigns (online and offline)
Experience overseeing ideas from inception to launch
Ability to take feedback and input and come up with solutions that keep the integrity of the ideas
Experience in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint and Keynote
Ability to articulate design decisions
Experience self-initiating projects
Understanding of user-experience design and content strategy
Understanding of the design principles to driving results in an online environment
Bachelor's degree
