The Director of Treasury Capital Markets is responsible for managing all facets of Expedia’s global foreign currency exposures. The individual will lead a team that manages 3 foreign currency hedge programs. Responsibilities for each program include, but are not limited to, exposure analysis, weekly positioning, trade recommendations, trade execution and reporting, and variance analysis. The team’s annual currency trade volumes exceed $24 billion (from over 12 thousand individual spot and derivative contracts) in over 30 different currencies.
This individual should be a proven expert on foreign currency trading with a solid track record on management of multi-billion dollar hedge programs. This position will be expected to interact directly with finance leadership in the identification, risk mitigation, and reporting of foreign currency exposures.

Demonstrated ability to evaluate global FX strategy
Proven leadership of FX strategy implementation across the finance organization
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Ability to acquire and synthesize complex datasets to support recommendations and conclusions to finance leadership
Strong understanding of accounting processes and concepts
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently
Attention to accuracy and detail
Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
Minimum 14+ years of related experience
Previous experience as the global head of FX for a Fortune 500 company a plus
CPA and CFA strongly preferred
