Expedia's e-Commerce Platform (eCP) team is at the heart of Expedia's business. Our eCP technology and operations platforms power Expedia's online travel brands worldwide. eCP teams are diverse – we build and maintain foundational systems and infrastructure like Data Centers, Transaction Platforms and Financial Systems. Our business operations include Customer Service as well as Payment and Fraud Operation teams.You will directly support the Sr. Director of eCP Strategy and Planning and division President to drive the strategic vision for eCP and facilitate the strategy execution in partnership with eCP technology, product management and business operations teams. This is a highly visible position, where you will have the opportunity to fundamentally shape the future of eCP, making this role an ideal stepping-stone from strategy consulting into the faced paced world of eCommerce and Online Travel.

Define and drive strategy
Work with senior leadership to define and lead eCP’s long-term strategy and establish a multiyear plan of strategic investment priorities. Build foundation for plan through assessing industry trends as well as EI Corporate, Brand and Supply strategies across EI.
Collaborate with eCP finance, business operations and technology teams to translate the strategy into an execution-focused annual plan
Support the execution of strategic and annual plans through effective collaboration with eCP teams through ongoing alignment & guidance for tactical operations and technology/product initiatives across the eCP organization
Support eCP verticals with their strategy development (as needed)
Lead Special Projects
Develop and drive select high-impact strategic initiatives and ad hoc analysis in support of eCP senior leadership
Identify and analyze sources of improvement opportunities
Facilitate cross-vertical alignment and consistency
Facilitate cross-vertical communication & alignment between eCP product teams and ensure product strategy is aligned with eCP strategy
Align product planning, product governance, and partner engagement approaches across eCP (where needed)
Job Requirements:
Leadership / Interpersonal / Communication
Consistent track record to deliver results through complex cross-functional teams
Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills, and extensive experience working with senior management
Experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally
Solid project management experience including multi-team, multi-project responsibilities
Extensive experience identifying and prioritizing high impact improvement opportunities
Demonstrated ability to attract and develop top talent
Problem Solving / Problem Structuring / Analytical Skills
Strong strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to see the “big picture” while also diving into details as necessary
Analytical decision maker with shown ability to apply appropriate quantitative rigor to the development of analytical models and complex analyses
Ability to structure problems and synthesize first and second order data sets / findings
Strong spreadsheet and data-management skills
Proficiency in technology development standard methodologies and product management methodology, is a plus

Experience/Education
3+ years of relevant experience in a credible management consulting firm (Bain, BCG, McKinsey)
MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
Experience with customer service, financial, and/or ERP product platforms that support OTC and P2P processes preferred, ideally in an eCommerce environment, is a plus
