As the Director of Admissions you will help create successful student pathways. You will be at the forefront of supporting our students through their educational journey. In collaboration with the Learning team at the company, you will help students assess their preparedness, find alternate pathways to get ready and succeed in their academic and professional goals. Responsibilities:

Perform all duties related to the admissions process from point of inquiry through enrollment
Collect and assess prospective student data to assure admissions criteria is met
Assure student records and data related to admissions are inputted, updated and safeguarded
Track student progress throughout enrollment in accordance with goals and key results set for the company
Partner with Foundation to work seamlessly with scholarship opportunities
Understand and articulate with complete clarity: requirements, needs and root causes and clear business cases/arguments for change
Analyze data to make informed decisions for design and delivery of admissions processes
Take initiative to experiment with methodologies and application design
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to build prospective student management tools and serve as point of contact for quality assessment
Partner with leaders, key stakeholders and students to align expectations and communicate the Udacity story
Develop forward looking workforce plans, demand plans, requisitions details and align and prioritize team resourcing accordingly
Collaborate with VP of Admissions to set strategy and implement ways to shepherd in student and scale world class online education

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in designing, implementation, and assessment of technology-enhanced educational endeavors
A consultative and open mindset that can identify needs of Nanodegree and Learning teams and seeks to tailor solutions that fit those needs
Ability to work autonomously, remain motivated and solution focused
Experience in developing application processes in admissions, recruiting, market research or other related fields
Ability to drive strategy, work with data and analytics, and demonstrated capability in effective and creative recruiting strategies
Experience in project management and designing effective application processes to meet changing business needs
Strong people leadership and capability in building and leading high-performing teams
Solid business and financial acumen, systems thinking and critical problem solving at scale
Experience with online education, experiential learning and/or higher education management
