The ideal candidate will have strong background in online media, publisher ad operations and expertise with DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP). The role is expected to communicate with technical and non-technical users, and must have excellent written and verbal skills as well as a high level of customer service to promote greater efficiency in Ad Operations.
Job Requirements:
Use DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) to traffic / test ad creatives, schedule and target campaigns to ensure that delivery and performance goals are achieved.
Co-ordinate with clients/agencies to ensure flawless ad campaign execution.
Learn and master systems tied to the trafficking and workflow management of ad campaigns and ensure processes and naming conventions are adhered to.
Partner with Ad Ops management, media ops, QA, sales, agencies, development, product, and marketing teams to address campaign issues as necessary and accurately optimize campaign performance based on client goals.
Identify new areas of opportunity within existing placements and products, evaluate new technologies, market trends and industry best practices
Co-ordinate various operational aspects of ad placements on mobile and desktop site consisting of standard display ad units, custom built native/sponsored/branded content executions
Help identify opportunities to implement solutions that increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of the Ad Ops department, including the development of tools, process and reports related to job responsibilities


Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
2-5 years hands-on experience at publisher’s ad operations using DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) including mobile advertising and tactical understanding of digital media planning process / workflow
Solid understanding of advertising campaign metrics
Familiarity and direct hands-on experience with advertising implementations and related concepts (Tracking Pixels, 3rd party tags, click trackers, ad server macros etc.)
Fundamental understanding of HTML/ JavaScript is required and experience with web troubleshooting tools such as Firebug, Charles, Chrome/Safari Inspector or Web Developer Tools
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SalesForce, order management systems. Excellent Excel skills required such as pivot tables, Vlookups.
Experience working with programmatic ad platforms is desirable
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with others in an open environment as part of a team with genuine curiosity on how things work.
Strong verbal and written communication, tasks follow through, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills are a must
Capable of working effectively with ever changing priorities and short deadlines
