Significantly enhance Organizational Development (OD) capability to better service the needs of the US Oncology Business by developing & implementing high quality OD solutions that substantially enhance organisational and people capabilities and drive sustainable achievement of business goals and strategic objectives.
Provide world-leading OD expertise to large-scale business projects and strategic initiatives to deliver superior business results to win for our patients.
Major Accountabilities
1. Identify and bring to Novartis new world-class, cutting edge OD practices under the overall guidance of the Head OD and in line with business needs and OD strategy

2. Lead, design, develop (or in-license), pilot and monitor OD approaches and initiatives, aimed at achieving organisational goals and building organisational capability
3. Identify and implement solutions that build organizational capability and resilience among line leaders and HR colleagues to allow them to achieve business strategy and goals effectively and sustainably to win for our patients
4. Influence and consult HR Leadership team, senior line leaders and Head OD on strategy implementation, leadership, culture, org design and employee engagement, on managing change, and on mergers and acquisitions
5. Lead the build-up of capability and readiness of the line management and HR organization in areas of OD expertise (e.g. change management skills, organizational design, culture, team effectiveness, employee engagement, organization climate, etc.)
6. Diagnose, design and facilitate team interventions to support teams’ journey to becoming high performing and ensure follow-up on action plans.
7. Lead the interaction across members of the OD network contributing ideas & solutions to the global HR network.
8. Build dialogue between different parts of the organization in order to diagnose organisational issues and plan actions, act as an internal consultant in specific parts of the organisation where particular business issues need to be addressed
9. Bring global perspective to local processes and vice-versa.

Minimum requirements • MS or PH.D in related field
• Fluent in English
• 10+ years of experience in design and execution of OD programs and solutions in a highly matrixed environment

• Very strong consulting, communication and relationship building skills
• Deep Organisational Development experience across numerous OD disciplines
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing a company OD plan linked to business growth and objectives
• Demonstrated experience facilitating OD interventions/programs with senior level executives and other levels in the organization
• Deep expertise in Organization Design, Change Management, & Building Culture
• Track record of successfully leading large-scale organization-wide projects and changes
• Ability to network with and influence senior HR and line leaders
• Senior level business and/or industry knowledge
• Proven strategic skills combined with drive to lead implementation
