The eBay North American Business Operations ("Biz Ops") team is seeking a driven, action-oriented, intellectually curious, strategic thinker (a.k.a. Rockstar) to take on the role of Sr. Manager – NA Business Operations.
This individual will tackle high-priority strategic questions for eBay's North America Marketplace business and reports to the Director, North America Business Operations. As a key member of the core Business Operations (“Biz Ops”) team, you will identify new insights and mobilize operating units to drive revenue and profit opportunities. You will be responsible for objective analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives focused on both drivers of our existing business and new/emerging opportunities. You will participate in setting operational and financial goals and driving operating discipline and excellence.

Successful candidates will have a deep passion for eCommerce marketplaces, exceptional structured thinking, ability to synthesize and make recommendations based on imperfect data from multiple sources (internally and externally), strong business intuition to guide their analysis, and ability to work both independently and cross-functionally. Additionally preferred candidates will exhibit a strong bias for action, strong partnering and stakeholder management skills, and intuition in balancing “right” and “fast”.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS required, MS/MBA preferred
5+ years professional experience in business strategy, business insights, strategy consulting or investment banking / finance
Prior Go-To-Market (or product introduction) experience
Strong structured problem solving skills
Executive-level presentation and communication skills
Fun, tenacious and “can-do” individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, energetic team environment
