Primary-HR field support for specified distribution and transportation teams, which includes business planning related to strategic planning initiatives including, but not limited to employee relations, Performance Management processes, compensation, training initiatives (hourly and salaried), Continuous Improvement process and practices related to Leadership Development. Based on region coverage, this position includes travel to applicable distribution centers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Employee Relations– Responsible for driving and supporting a positive employee relations environment in the distribution and transportation teams through executing employee relations activities and managing concerns or issues. Ensure Business Conduct Line calls are addressed thoroughly and expeditiously. Intercede, where necessary, to resolve employee issues at the corporate level (insurance issues, pension issues, etc.). Support the Supply Chain network and/or the HR function as it relates to various implementation projects. Awareness and ability to analyze pulse of our facilities through various systems – Leadership Assessments, Survey’s, Employee Relations Dashboards etc. Support sites in design and execution of effective people strategies, ensuring support of business needs now and in the future.
• Talent Performance and Management System – Support all areas of the Performance Management System life cycle for relevant distribution and transportation teams. Help manage, support and develop people leaders through the Performance Management cycle activities, including Performance Evaluations, Development, Talent and Succession Planning, and building capabilities in this area to ensure calibration and consistency in approach across all areas. Review and approve salaried promotion, transfer, and equity increases (manager level and below). Support and manage to ensure a fair and equitable compensation program is in place.
• Regulation/Policy Compliance – Responsible for ensuring facilities are in compliance with HR related government regulations (EEO, AAP, ADA, FMLA, etc.) as well as corporate policies, guidelines and internal auditing systems. Provide guidance and technical expertise to facilities in these areas as well as internal audit areas related to Human Resources. Liaise with Nestlé Legal and Compliance Departments as needed. Collaborate with those departments to provide responses to agency charges, associate complaints/allegations, etc.
• Leadership Development (LDv) Responsible for ensuring facilities are implementing LDv methodology, through use of LDv Pillar, implementation plan and competency building. Participate in site coaching, training and assessing to support LDv maturity and progression in tools, systems and methodology. Active participation on Pillar or Network team.
Other:
o Provide strategic direction to site leaders as needed on shared Supply Chain and HR initiatives.
o Category trainer, competency build (Management Essentials, Harassment Awareness, or other courses as needed by the facilities).
o Provide HR support, as needed, for other business units and employees in physical logistics or across the region.
o Participate in and lead various HR related projects or initiatives.
o Perform other related duties as directed.
Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS, MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL, AND EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor’s (BA or BS) required. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources/Employee Relations. Human Resource experience must include HR Generalist, operational experience and change leadership/cultural development focus.
Demonstrated experience partnering with clients to solve business/operational issues through the application of progressive people systems practices.
Knowledge of basic HR law required. Knowledge of HR applications preferred.
Abilitly to gain trust and buy-in with all levels of employees.
Travel req: 10% – 20%

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and prefer SAP HR knowledge
