Risk identification and assessment: The PAM provides subject matter expertise to identify and assess risks in the CCAR/DFAST program, providing quarterly analysis to GA management and the product teams to inform them on evolution of these risks. This requires strong continuous audit assessments with key stakeholders as well as keeping current of pertinent industry, U.S. regulatory and business practices.
Audit Delivery: The PAM provides proactive management and delivery of the CCAR audit plan in line with GA’s policies and audit methodology. This will require insightful risk assessment and audit planning, constructive audit reporting, finding tracking and finding closure validation. This also includes the risk and control management reporting requirements of GA and stakeholders.
Leadership: The PAM provides forward looking and inspirational team leadership, enabling staff development, so as to enrich the skill sets of individuals and the team overall. This includes succession and staff development/career planning, coaching and creating an environment that attracts and retains talent.
Relationship Management: The PAM will need to interface with business and infrastructure management to maintain constructive and balanced relationships. The PAM will also need to maintain excellent, responsive working relationships with other Group Audit teams and regulators.
