Mission
Lead, manage and coordinate scientific activities in relation with the strategic direction, generation and communication of pre-clinical, clinical, economic, competitive and environment data supporting the commercialization process of Iglarlixi/lixi. Ensure the generation and execution of an effective scientific communication strategy and plan for Iglarlixi/lixi, by collaborating closely with the head of the Iglarlixi/lixi Franchise(s), medical, HEOR, marketing and the KTL teams, R&D and the communication team supporting ongoing clinical and pre-clinical activities.

Principal activities:
Optimize and Execute Brand Scientific Communication Strategy and Planning Process
Plan and coordinate the release of the new studies in collaboration with R&D , medical & marketing colleagues, defining the target congresses speakers and develop the presentations in collaboration with KTL team, medical and marketing teams
Participate in data generation plan, data interpretation and drive data communication plan for phase III/IIIB/IV studies and data analytics.
Effectively interacts with KOL to seek advice for results and data interpretation
Defining scientific messages for new data release in collaboration with medical and marketing teams and assure integration in all relevant activities
Drive and execute the preparation, up to accept, of the primary and secondary manuscripts, define priorities, tactics and journals with the close collaboration with the investigators and medico-marketing team
Identify and manage the development of Iglarlixi/lixi review manuscript and supplement on the global level and in collaboration with the affiliates
Maintain an overview of the publication activities within the franchise on a global level..
Lead Iglarlixi/lixi Scientific Communication Working Group with the experts: F2F meeting and TC. Preparation of the agenda, content, interaction with the experts, meeting summary and minutes
Present scientific communication strategy and tactics at key internal medico-marketing meetings
Mapping release of the new competitors studies and defining the plan to maximize our data release
Monitors and anticipates the scientific publication activities of the competition and proposes respective actions, SBS, Q&A, publications…
Contribution in the agenda and content of the international symposium/internal meetings in collaboration with medical and marketing teams
Inform staff of key scientific communication activities continuously and on the monthly basis
Interacts with R&D and marketing to harmonize needs and priorities
Interact with the clinical operation team to facilitate and support the analysis and usage of clinical studies with respect to scientific communication
Participate in franchise input to communication team in activities with media: articles, interviews, press releases, press conferences
Management of the related budget and appropriate budget anticipation, medical education agency management
Major challenges for the job:
Transversal strategic thinking of supporting synergistic tactics on data generation,
maximization and communication on Iglarlixi/lixi.
Integrate competition aspect and impact in the scientific communication plan and
execution
Create and develop added value in scientific communication function
Proactively contribute to effective team spirit environment


Qualifications
Profile
Knowledge and Know-how:
The selected candidate needs to have a demonstrated track record of at least 3 years in medical or marketing in the Diabetes business.
Medical degree or PharmD or PhD equivalent
Ideally, experience combining an academic career path and a pharma business experience
Excellent contacts and network in Diabetes scientific community
Languages:
English required
French or German a plus
