Reporting to the Vice President of Licensing, 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, the Director of Global Publishing will work closely with the Vice President, Fox Consumer Products Agents in all regions, Vice Presidents of Brand Franchises, Retail Team, Fox Development Executives and Property Creators.

Responsibilities
Oversee programs for Young Adult to Adult: Original Series Fiction, Graphic Novels, Monthly Comics, Deluxe Books (Making-of, Visual Books), Show Compendiums, Humor and Novelty Books
Oversee programs for Children including: Storybooks, novelty books, sticker books, coloring and activity books, workbooks, and magazines
Manage Partworks for both Children and Adults
Identify and solicit publishing partners for new and existing film and television properties
Build strategic multiyear publishing plans for film and TV franchises by key regions: UK/EMEA; APLA, Latin America, North America to expand business in existing markets and open new markets
Present properties to global publishing partners at annual international book fairs: London, Bologna, Frankfurt
Prepare customized presentations to prospective publishers
Prepare customized presentations of publishing plans by brand to present to property creators to insure smooth communication and collaboration
Manage retail relationship with key retail account to build programs across multiple categories
Review each title submitted from concept, to outline, to manuscript through to publishing. Shepherd the titles through the various rights and stake holders
Work with in-house legal team in drafting and closing of contracts
Provide monthly sales status reports and quarterly projections and forecasts
In conjunction with finance, track licensees' payments and reports to insure timely payments

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate is a highly creative and strategic thinker who appreciates a fast-paced environment, and can react quickly to emerging opportunities
The candidate will have 5+ years’ experience and a solid track record with publishing in licensing, marketing, retail or manufacturing background coupled with experience and track record in publishing from an editorial, licensing, retail or marketing background
Solid relationships with leaders in publishing are needed
Knowledge and experience with the various publishing formats and key success matrices of each
Knowledge of key players in the major international publishing markets also needed
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally required
Familiarity with various comic conventions is an advantage
Strong writing and presentation skills are required
