This senior level role will be responsible for driving and developing the global strategy for Disease Management Solutions and for developing the portfolio of offerings for Boston Scientific, aimed at increasing our market share. Strong collaboration with the different stakeholders within the organization will be key to the success of this role.
This position reports to VP Global Healthcare Solutions and Partnerships and will be part of the Global Healthcare Solutions and Partnerships leadership team. Key direct reports will include: Market and Competitive Intelligence, Product Management and Program Management.

Responsibilities
The Director, Global Disease Management Solutions will lead the strategic direction of the Boston Scientific Disease Management Solutions franchise. The role will use personal customer insight and market and customer intelligence to help identify new Disease Management Solutions that build effective commercial relationships with key Customers.
Responsible for designing and building competitive and effective new solutions offerings for Boston Scientific that are delivered in time, to cost and within the Boston Quality framework.
Responsible for the effective launch of new Solutions globally, including training the geographically focused Solutions Architect and Delivery teams. Responsible for all aspects of Hospital Solutions Life Cycle Management, including downstream marketing.
Build a Global Disease Management Solutions Franchise organization capable of attracting and retaining highly effective solutions professionals.
Play an active role in the Global Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships team, helping to shape BSC’s global strategy within this space and ensuring that both the needs and learnings of the Disease Management Solutions agenda are adequately represented in all forums.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred)
8+ years of relevant work experience in a senior role within a Medical Solutions environment
Demonstrated success working in a team environment, and past management experience providing leadership, development and coaching to a high performing team
Strong business acumen with the demonstrated ability to develop and implement global strategy
Track record of product /solutions development and management
Global experience
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies and customer needs
Able to set priorities and execute work in a fast paced environment
Willingness to travel 50 %
