As a Director of Engineering software engineer you take on technical leadership for an entire product

Owning the technology stack / architecture for multiple product areas
Hiring, developing, and mentoring engineering managers
Collaborating closely with PM and Design to architect new products and features
Partner with leadership team to create processes and project plans that enable the team to efficiently produce a high quality product on time and on budget
Manage all development processes including scheduling, scrums, quality assurance, release and product reviews
Grow engineering org as needed, providing guidance on compensation (budget and allocation) and promotions
Interface with other technical departments to collectively strategize, as well as route and schedule required work to appropriate parties
Perform long-term technical guidance and planning
What We Can Expect From You:

10+ years of relevant industry experience, 5+ years of experience in a management or technical leadership role
BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g. Python, C/C++, Ruby, Java, C#)
Experience working with Agile development & Scrum environment
Highly proficient with common project management tools and bug databases
Provide roadmap guidance for individual games, services, and the overall division
