Red Hat's Sales and Services Operations team is looking for a Senior Director to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for the processes, automation, scalability, and tools that support our sales and services teams around the world. You'll partner with senior leaders throughout the sales, services, and finance organizations, as well as others within Red Hat, to guide a coordinated, scalable, and agile sales and services operational framework and toolkit, with a focus on speed, optimization, productivity, attainment, and operational excellence. You will report directly to Red Hat's Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer.

Partner with global sales and services teams to understand and diagnose new business requirements, regional needs, market maturity or readiness, and pain points for prioritization and delivery
Develop, implement, and evolving processes, frameworks, and tools in support of Red Hat's rapid growth strategy with a focus on efficient change management, automation, scalability, and minimal disruption to the business, e.g. quarterly and annual targets
Collaborate with worldwide sales and services finance and accounting to develop sales incentive compensation administration and, when required, arbitrating or clarifying the application of sales compensation program policies and procedures
Support equitable assignment of salesforce quotas and ensure quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources
Partner with sales management and the global salesforce to manage sales process quality and priorities for process improvement
Establish and implement performance measures designed to track and report progress against the sales strategy and compensation plans
Conduct periodic operations reviews to cascade strategies and ensure global compliance
Proactively monitor and maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, process consistency, and opportunities for improvement.
Identify critical resources and opportunities for cross-functional or cross-geographical collaboration to achieve strategic goals; manage the allocation of those resources to optimize value, productivity, and delivery
Provide ad-hoc operational support to the global sales and services organizations when needed
Required skills
10+ years in a leadership role overseeing sales, sales operations, or field operations professionals and functions
Demonstrated business knowledge and highly relevant and recent experience in the sales or services operations functions at the executive level
Transformational experience within a rapidly evolving, high-growth company environment
Proven experience implementing leading-edge methodologies, tools, and processes to out pace industry and market competition
Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship skills
Demonstrated ability to lead a distributed, global, multicultural organization
Solid analytical skills to engage business leaders on business terms and deliver business solutions
Customer service focus, including the ability to deliver multiple priority projects with high customer satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated budgetary management, people management, and resource allocation experience
Bachelor's degree; MBA is a big plus
