As part of Jet’s in-house Creative Team, you will help establish the conceptual and stylistic direction for all internal and external expressions of the Jet brand, from brainstorm to execution. You will inspire and mentor designers, partner with internal stakeholders, and oversee external partners, to ensure all creative work—from site assets to high-level marketing campaigns—is differentiating, maintains overall brand consistency, engages audiences, and promotes brand awareness and customer loyalty.

With adept skills in storytelling and branding systems, you will collaborate with the Marketing, Product, Partner, and Talent Experience teams—among others—to translate higher-level conceptual thinking into creative assets for use across all digital and print channels.
You will nurture the development of staff designers, inspiring them to push boundaries and deliver original approaches, and art direct still photography, animation, and sound.
Responsibilites:
Engage strategically with VP, Creative to accelerate brand momentum, influence visual language, designers, and overall processes to deliver exceptional, ground-breaking, and press-worthy creative.
Assist in planning, resourcing, and recruiting to continually improve processes and to position team for growth.
Lead the development of innovative and disruptive campaigns for stunts, environments, large scale out-of-home advertising and direct mail, from brainstorming to execution.
Source and manage relationships with copywriters, agencies, and other external partners.
Art direct product & lifestyle photography, visual merchandising, illustration, motion graphics, video, and sonic branding.
Drive ongoing competitive peer analyses and trends research, and lead seasonal tool kit explorations.
Push multiple projects forward simultaneously, with minimal supervision.
Contribute to Style Guide creation and maintenance, and ensure cross-channel alignment between Creative and UI/UX teams.
Inspire design team to embrace challenges, foster new modes of thinking, and balance tactical production with ongoing exploratory creative.
Work alongside other Art Directors to support overall digital asset creation—from on-site banners and promotions to off-site email and display—as well as creative for Talent Brand initiatives.
Partner with our Brand Experience team to curate and deliver engaging campaigns that bring Jet's brand and products to life.
About You
8-10 years of relevant experience in creative development at an agency or in-house design team with expanding responsibilities.
A portfolio demonstrating solid design chops in online & offline marketing campaigns, robust brand & identity systems, and impeccable typography, layout, art direction.
A true storyteller; able to sell ideas through engaging narratives and clever copywriting.
Strong expertise in product & lifestyle photography for e-commerce, with an eye for set design, styling, and merchandising.
A design athlete/generalist; able to juggle a diverse range and scale of projects, from print to digital; has an understanding of basic UX design and some experience in social media.
Articulate, passionate, and highly collaborative, with a curious spirit; a true team member who is eager to share knowledge and foster an inspiring environment. Thrives in a bustling setting and is motivated by team success.
Proactive and comfortable with ambiguity and change; able to distill high-level mandates or ideas into tactical execution strategies.
Proven ability to manage simultaneous, time-sensitive projects—from multiple stakeholders and competing priorities—and deliver them while retaining a high attention to detail.
Bachelor’s Degree, with a strong background in design.
Proficient in Mac OSX, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch.
