Director Product Management Global Intelligence Conviva San Francisco

Job Description:
As Director of Product Management, Global Intelligence, you will be in charge of charting the future of products and services based upon Conviva’s immense (and highly valuable) global data set. This director-level role will require an analytical mind who can understand the complexities of these products while simultaneously building market momentum for these solutions for our customers. Armed with your knowledge of the OTT video market and our big data computation capabilities, you’ll direct the creation of new reports and data visualization tools to assist our customers benchmark their customer experiences and prioritize areas for improvement.

Without a doubt, you will work with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, including Conviva’s world-class engineering, technical operations, and field sales organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Own data products development, including Catalog Reports, ad hoc offline reporting, and Expert Services consulting engagements
Prioritize between new report development, extension of existing capabilities, and investment in predictive analysis
Review and expand our understanding of customer use cases by persona and adapt our reporting offerings to map onto these opportunities
Coordinate with Insights and Precision PLMs (as appropriate) to ensure a seamless product offering
Drive requirements for all major new Global Intelligence features initiatives
Build a small team of highly skilled product managers over time
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications

10+ years of product management experience with online video, analytics, or big data SaaS providers
Adept at shipping enterprise or SaaS-based products to market
Able to identify and describe the key players within the online video ecosystem/value chain
An ability to “think on your feet” and devise solutions in real-time with customers
Demonstrated success leading product management and Agile software development teams, either as a previous developer or product manager
A passion for developing thorough yet concise requirements documentation
Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical educational background
Excellent communication and writing skills
