We are looking for a Director of Digital Product Delivery as part of the Group Retirement IT Team.

The successful candidate will be an integral member of a high performance team that helps define how customers / employees interact with digital systems for externally facing web and mobile applications. The team is responsible for developing scalable interfaces and delivering world class user experience for customers and employees.

You will collaborate closely with the design team and clearly communicate technical specifications to the internal team, clients, and vendors as needed on initiatives involving externally facing web and mobile applications.

You will work with the Retirement Head of Digital & Mobile Delivery, Retirement Head of UX and Human Resources to build your team, providing feedback and acting as quality control for your team’s work.

Position Requirements:

The ideal candidate is very detail-oriented, understands visual design/aesthetics, digital (web and mobile) product development and can manage several complex projects at the same time.

Job Requirements:

- Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels, including senior leaders, of both internal and client organizations; engaging presentation style
- The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task
- Identify, recruit, develop and lead user experience digital team(s)
- Comfortable with leading UX, UI, front-end and back-end coders.
- A commitment to user centered design and experience with conducting user research, focus groups and usability testing
- Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, Javascript. .net, C#, Node, Database Stored Procedures etc.
- An ability to lead and inspire others
- Experience developing highly usable applications that are also Accessible demonstrating a working knowledge of ADA and WCAG compliance standards.
- Must be able to evaluate user requests for new or re-engineered applications to determine their feasibility and time requirements and their compatibility with current systems and design standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

- 8 or more years of user experience design experience for software, Web applications which leverage emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices
- At least 3 years in a manager role where you were responsible for developing and managing others.
- Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique
- Experience with user interface design patterns and standard User-Centered Design (UCD) methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven expertise delivering Digital Projects with common software project management and software development practices including Agile, Scrum or similar methodologies.

Experience Preferred: 9-12 years
Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)

Travel Percentage: 25%
