As a Director/Technical Lead/Manager, you will be passionate about gaming, and will have a unique opportunity to leverage YouTube’s massive user base to create the best online gaming video experience available on the web. Manage and grow a team of software engineers, including iteration and task planning.
Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.
Work closely with product management teams to ensure we're building the best product.
Work closely with engineering teams to reuse and understand existing frameworks.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of technical leadership and people management experience.
Experience building web-based and mobile systems.
Preferred qualifications:
MS or PhD in Computer Science.
10 years of industry experience.
Experience shipping successful projects.
Strong distributed systems and architecture knowledge.
Strong technical background in software development techniques, benchmarking, and performance analysis
Effective leader capable of motivating a team of software engineers, and with a passion for making YouTube even better for gamers.
