As the leader of revenue management, the Director leads a team of 5 managers owning product assortment, pricing, promotional offers and packaging across tires, service and parts. The Director of Revenue Management will report to Fred Thomas, Vice President of Company Owned Retail.

Roles & Responsibilities
Oversees revenue management and distribution strategy of Goodyear Retail Stores & Goodyear.com e-Commerce. Developing pricing strategies that are synergistic to non-company owned practices.

Leads team of Goodyear Associates ensuring the organization has the information, data, tools and systems to effectively support the business. Recommends future structure across people, tools and resources to accelerate competency and grow revenue.

Establishes and manages best practice standards including competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market modeling, distribution yield, business mix yield, service performance impact, store level inventory and controls.

Identifies ways to simplify / enhance the consumer buying experience in alignment with our consumer value proposition through product assortment, pricing, packaging and promotion.

Helps to develop and test new business models, such as mobile installation and new store formats, designing tests, evaluation criteria, analysis of results, presentation and recommendations.

Creates visibility to performance and pricing opportunities leveraging data and analytics to assess, analyze and provide real-time dynamic forecasting of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.

Ensures compliance with internal and government regulations, overseeing the audit of pricing standards and regulations.

Inspires Goodyear’s overall Retail Operations and e-Commerce to embed a revenue management culture.

Key member of the Retail management team that sets Retail organization objectives and strategies.

Influences thinking beyond Retail.


Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance related discipline required.

Experience and Skills
10+ years’ experience with pricing, pricing systems, promotions, product assortment and analysis in a Retail organization that set consumer facing price, both online and in stores.
Experience setting direction, defining roles, clarifying work, motivating people to tasks, and measuring success in achieving goals.
Creative thinker and problem solver capable of structuring and evaluating strategic options through fact-based quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Experience working in a minimum advertised price (MAP) environment.
Considerable financial acumen.
Strong communication, influencing and motivational skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal).
