As the Jordan Retail Brand Director, you’re a critical component to the team and a leader. You will partner with other creative functions including: Brand, Brand Design, Digital Brand and Brand Communications. Your mission is to create epic consumer experiences at retail across our different distribution channels that will both elevate our brand and drive commercial success. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Commerce, and Integrated Marketplace Leaders to create a seamless retail experience for the Jordan consumer. You will develop retail brand strategy and oversee execution of the Jordan Brand consumer experience at retail, including in-store environment, sales associate training, and seasonal marketing campaign execution. You will drive an integrated marketplace approach and process that leads with Direct to Consumer, serves North America wholesale and includes in-store, digital, social, outbound communication, and grassroot/sport moment events.

You are a leader that drives a flawless execution across the marketplace with your team. You will work on and across category and cross-functional teams to support Jordan Brand initiatives. You will be responsible for defining and developing the Retail Brand strategy for North America on a long-term, annual, and seasonal basis. Additionally, you will oversee the annual budget to ensure accuracy and discipline in monthly and quarterly budget management process. You set the vision and inspire the team to go after one unified goal.


Qualifications
Requirements for the position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, or a related field
• 8 years’ experience in retail, brand, brand strategy, visual merchandising, retail space planning and event design
• 5 years’ employee or team management experience
• In-depth knowledge of the North America Marketplace
• Understand the competitive market, customers and retail trends
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
• Demonstrate leadership capability, including ability to motivate and mentor others within a work group
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and project teams
• Capable of driving timelines, allocating resources and managing budgets
• Ability to balance creativity with organization and discipline in fast moving, ambiguous environment
• Passion and/or expertise for the Jordan Brand is preferred
• Strong understanding of the Nike matrix
• Strong understanding of Jordan Brand product lines is preferred
• Background in building retail experience is highly preferred
• Results driven, pro-active self starter, organized and focused
• Ability to travel 30%
