The Strategic Enterprise Capability (SEC) team will enable Nike’s 2020 vision and beyond by driving end-to-end integration of business processes and delivering an elevated capability platform. SEC will maximize business ownership, leverage new organizational capabilities, unleash individual career path opportunities, enable flexible resource utilization, and accelerate our Tech Revolution implementation. As our Senior Director Value Management Office, you will report to the VP SEC and will provide overall oversight of the project and end-to-end management of project scope, cost and timelines, while ensuring maximum value creation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Design and manage program structure, schedule and resource allocation model to support Agile methodology
Define, implement, maintain, and communicate program management procedures and processes to enable workstreams to deliver against the defined project goals and scope on time and on budget.
Develop appropriation requests and annual operating plans
Identify business priorities, opportunities and cross-functional dependencies to maximize value creation
Build strong, senior internal partnerships to foster collaboration, strategic alignment and integrated planning and execution across functions
Influence scope, timing and sequencing of in-flight functional programs and initiatives to align with SEC project timelines and objectives
Enable effective, efficient working relationship with related and assigned teams – primary liaison to corporate PMO’s

Responsible for program scope, change, issue and risk management; Identify and manage risks, changes, issues and scope. Facilitate mitigation through relevant stakeholders and governance processes.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements; brief/update ECPMO and executive team as required
Define, implement and monitor metrics and KPIs to report project status and ensure ongoing strategic alignment with short and long-term business objectives
Establish and maintain best practices and standardized frameworks, tools and operational processes related to project management, collaboration, knowledge management, resource planning, vendor management, and dashboards
Create and execute a communications strategy to address executive to front-line employees
Partner with HR to assess existing capabilities against future-state capability model to identify gaps
Oversee development of transition strategy and monitor progress against transition objectives
Develop innovative and sustainable training methodology and approach that supports and enables future-state methods of operation
Provide leadership, development and oversight to a team of project managers and transition managers

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate degree preferred), plus a minimum 10 years of relevant experience in program management, management consulting, strategy or a related field. In lieu of a degree an additional two years of experience is acceptable
Formal training in project or portfolio management methodologies and/or certifications
Demonstrated success in cross-functional integration/relationships and program execution
Deep understanding of application and execution of program metrics and KPI’s
Ability to drive large-scale change/projects and lead enterprise-wide transition management efforts
Strong executive presence
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
Demonstration of strong influencing skills
