This position is in Intuit’s Finance and Compliance Technology (FaCT) team within the Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) team, reporting to the VP of FaCT. This position is responsible for quality engineering and app ops across FaCT and provides critical leadership and technical guidance for multiple teams delivering the services that power the business of Intuit. It requires a solid understanding of quality engineering and application operations as applicable to enterprise class business solutions. The candidate must be passionate about operating and delivering high quality applications and services through modern continuous delivery and test automation approaches, and developing high performance teams.

Deliver capabilities in areas of quality engineering, with the goal of empowering and enabling other teams within Product Development to move faster with improved quality
Partner with development, operations, release, and program management teams to test and validate the FaCT services prior to deployment
Drive process excellence, test automation, transparency, and software defined approaches in areas of responsibility along with high online availability
Lead the organization with an “Automation First, Automation Only” mindset and help shape the technical operations strategy in EBS.

Partner with the Intuit and EBS standards team to set quality standards and drive teams to deliver defect-free products along with making recommendations on changes to design, development, maintenance and system standards.
Own, maintain, extend and support the test automation framework for enterprise business systems
Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Developers and Quality Engineers/Analysts in an Agile delivery environment
Influence test driven development mindset, rapidly invest in building up automated testing capability to support continuous integration/deployment capability
Lead the application operations teams that implements and supports new and existing FaCT applications for scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
Support the FaCT engineering teams that design and develop these applications.
Develop data conversion and system implementation plans
Produce key operations metrics that demonstrate measurable results/improvements.
Build, nurture and maintain strong partnerships with all internal business unit stakeholders globally
Partner with support and development organizations to understand the root causes of any defects that escape into production and conduct root cause analysis that results in improvements to application availability.
Manage partner teams to ensure we are delivering quality output
Possess the versatility required to be a leader, manager, coach, and mentor to a global team while placing high value on people and process.
Drive privacy, security and compliance with established standards for all the products through partnership with various business and functional stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
Ten+ years’ experience managing global quality engineering in enterprise/ e-commerce/SaaS environments
3+ years of relevant experience in finance systems domain with significant understanding of finance business processes
Experience managing Application Operations organization is a huge plus
Deep expertise in Agile test automation
Experience working in large, complex datacenter environments
Proven track record in building and growing highly skilled teams and a passion for people management and mobility.
Solid experience in managing vendor relationships
Ability to execute with little guidance and ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Strong planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, and strong inter-personal skills
