Reporting to the VP, Strategy and Delivery IT, the Director Partners and Relationships will oversee Vendor Management, Procurement, and Contract Management within Jacob’s IT organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Drive and develop strategic procurement strategies for IT including regular analysis of spend data and recommendations of best practices
Lead the process and governance in relation to all vendor relationships, past, current and future

Build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally which drive business performance
Manage the financial viability of third party vendors
Conduct and report vendor performance tracking, vendor relationship, risk management and compliance activities
Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations with vendors on price, SLA, delivery and industry-leading terms and conditions and coordinate with legal to execute optimal contracts with vendors
Lead strategic sourcing development, implementation and create strategy that align with the business’s objectives
Direct IT Asset Management program including planning, purchasing, tracking, monitoring and recording of software and hardware assets
Provide guidance in developing and implementing policies and procedures for tracking company IT assets and compliance throughout their lifecycles
Provide process and systems leadership for sourcing, contract management, procure-to-pay and ITAM process needs
Experience with software licensing, hardware procurement and outsourcing agreements.
Ability to manage virtual, geographically dispersed teams
Qualifications
BA/BS degree preferably in IT or Business required, a Master’s degree is preferred but not required
15 years of work experience serving in a Senior Leadership role in IT Vendor or Contract Management in a large, public company required
Thorough understanding of IT operations in a large, global organization required
Strong budget and cost analysis experience required
Sourcing development, vendor management and IT Asset Management experience required
Advanced Excel skills required
Strong communication skills required
