Global Business Marketing is the Facebook team tasked with telling our story to brands, agencies and marketers around the world and we’re looking for a razor sharp Creative Director to bring us their brilliance. We need someone who is equal parts idea generator and problem solver as we evolve and reimagine how Facebook and our family of apps and services go to market. You should understand marketing and not just advertising and have a sincere desire to innovate and change the way businesses connect to their customers. You should also be a maker at heart who understands how to tell a cohesive and impactful brand story across many different channels. We focus on both the small details and the big picture of how we’re presenting ourselves so you need to be comfortable moving fast and making things.

Responsibilities

Concept and create campaigns to communicate to a variety of different audiences in agencies, brands, small businesses and marketing partners.
Lead and direct both internal and external teams executing across mediums of video, digital, print, presentation and live event.
Work with cross-functional partners to plan and develop a range of marketing strategies.
Mentor and coach team members in order to raise the bar on our overall creative and strategic thinking.
Minimum Qualification

8+ years of experience in brand marketing/advertising as a CD/art director or CD/copywriter
Experience developing strategically grounded, brilliant creative applied in a variety of mediums
Able to think big and apply that to the wide range of opportunities – from individual publishing ideas to campaign ideas to full on, long-standing platforms
Entrepreneurial. We’re still only 1% done at Facebook – this team is inventing everyday and it takes tenacity, bravery and the ability to see the big opportunities to thrive here
Excellent storytelling and communications skills. Being able to bring an idea to life from a white board through beautiful and flawless creative execution
Strategic. Deep understanding of brand marketing and how to build brilliant strategies
Leadership. The ability to be a charismatic, inspirational, and overly communicative transparent leader with the direct team as well as with cross-functional partners.
