The Strategic Development Director will support the CRS Head of Operations and Strategic Partnerships in all aspects regarding the CRS talent acquisition, onboarding and retention efforts, including information management, implementation of common project management platforms, budget monitoring, campus recruitment support, marketing plans and special projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Supports talent acquisition and retention efforts of a large and rapidly growing business unit, including career pathing, job fairs and other university/industry recruitments efforts.
2. Plans, designs, develops, and delivers strategic transformation programs, using instructor-led, train-the trainer, electronic/web-based, and/or multimedia methods and formats.
3. Provides strategic consulting for organization-wide initiatives and projects. Participates in the design, development and implementation of programs for multiple CRS integration efforts and organizational alignment.
4. Expands Newcomers Network program and mentoring across the CRS organization and manages mentor assignments and progress against stated program objectives
5. Conducts needs assessments to identify and evaluate technical engineering and consulting requirements for advanced, industry specific technical development.
6. Develops CRS materials to include process flows, job aids, models, multimedia visual aids, computer and web-based tutorials, and standard operating procedures to support CRS business platforms
7. Researches and studies advancements in organizational development to support growth of CRS, as well as Clemson and other academic institutions partnerships, to evaluate effectiveness of technical development programs and services, utilizing appropriate data collection instruments and procedures.
9. Consults with cross functional project teams, leaders and/or stakeholders.
10. Administers development programs in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and internal standards, and seeks to combine efforts and processes for cost effectiveness and cross-border knowledge transfer.
11. Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document programs, including tracking of technical designations and future development needs.
12. Manages Intranet and Internet content.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA/Masters is a plus
• 15+ years of insurance professional experience
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines and complex deliverables
• Experience with talent management, training and recruitment
• Highly organized and self-motivated with demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguous, autonomous settings
• Works well independently and in group settings
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Drive to achieve superior performance
• Proficiency in database management, advanced Excel tools, SharePoint and other corporate systems
