This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Director of Program Management will oversee and lead the Space Exploration Networks Services and Evolution (SENSE) program, ensuring high quality services are provided on time and within budget.

Upon a successful win, will lead a team to transition to the program startup. The PM will manage the program office for KBRWyle and will act as the customer interface and primary interface for all interactions and project activities including on contract growth.
Interface with the customer providing insight and status of project plans on all activities and projects associated with supporting the NASA SENSE program.
Responsible for approving resource requirements and effort estimates; establishing direction for functional team and direct reports across a suite of projects; responsible for project data integration and tracking of financials, quality levels, and implementation of corrective actions based on variance and critical path analysis for projects supporting the ranges; balances customer expectations with internal business goals.
Typically leads activities involved in the development of the fiscal AOP and STRAP for multiple sites/teams.
Position Scope:
As the SENSE Program Manager, responsibilities will include managing all aspects of running the SENSE contract ensuring the highest level of operational performance possible, on contract growth and management of overall program management for projects assigned to the contract.

Qualifications

Experience and Education:
BS / BA Engineering, Sciences, or Other Related Program Field and at least 10 years of directly related experience.
Advanced Degrees (M.S. / MBA) preferred.
Extensive Program Management experience/certification and increasing leadership responsibility.
Preferred cross-functional and business experiences.

Required Skills:
Must have Space Communications and Ground Systems Operations/Maintenance experience.
Demonstrated strong customer intimacy skills.
Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience in managing hardware and software development and systems integration.
Business development experience and/or have led successful captures of new business.
Must have demonstrated experience managing a P&L center of $50M or greater.
Understanding of all aspects of business operations and associated costs are required.
Additional Qualifications:
At least 10 years of leadership experience in the aerospace industry.
Recent program/contract management and task order management experience.
20+ years experience in the following mission areas: Space Communications, Ground Systems Operations and Maintenance and Ground Systems development.
Direct experience with NASA (NASA Space Communications and Networks) with recent knowledge of customer operations, acquisition procedures, and stakeholders.
Should have advanced knowledge and use of business concepts and accounting principles associated with the project cost and budgetary planning/control.
