This position leads the development and deployment of the IT strategy and action plans to meet the needs of the technology & engineering function, serving as the primary business voice for the IT function and brokering services from across the enterprise to meet the specific needs of the function and business priority in Software strategies. This role will also serve as the focal point for cyber security in software/production development for SPS (Safety and Productivity Solutions), partnering across functions and with Enterprise IT & Security, to assure SPS meets all cyber security and compliance standards.

The Engineering Software Development IT Director will be a proactive member of the both the SPS Engineering and the SPS IT leadership teams and will ensure that all Engineering & Technology strategies and deliverables are fully integrated into the appropriate Enterprise wide IT roadmaps. This functional partner will also be the primary liaison between SPS and Honeywell Global Security.
Summary Responsibilities:
· IT Functional Partner Role in support of SPS Technology Organization
· Support all Technology processes and capability with Contemporary IT Solutions
· Establish SPS Cyber Security function and expand to include connected and non-connected products
· Support SPS Compliance efforts for all Cyber Assets
· Partner with ISC and SPS GBE’s to lead IT components of Business Continuity Management
Technology Processes & Capability
· Identify opportunities to improve engineering, HUE and technology processes through the use and adoption of Enterprise IT solutions (Collaboration, Co-Development, File management/File Sharing and Data, Asset Security and Data Loss Prevention (DLP))
· Work with Enterprise IT and Technology team to drive final consensus and direction of PDM/PLM solution for SPS. Develop roadmap and implementation plan
· Ensure cost effective utilization of IT solutions and processes to leverage Enterprise IT teams
Cyber Security, Compliance and Business Continuity
§ Bring together device and environment security under common leadership and management
o Grow skills, capability and awareness across all aspects of SPS organization in critical areas Design Practices
o Identification of Threats (Assets, governance, assessment, risk), confirm action, and validate solution effectiveness
o Protection of technology and reputation (awareness, security, maintenance, proactive management)
o Detection of threats and response/management plan, (Monitoring, processes)
o Recovery plan (Best practices, corrective action, communication)
§ Move Compliance and Business Continuity management from an after-thought to the forefront of our thinking
§ Partner with Audit, Law, Communications, Security, Supply chain and Business Leadership to build a robust multi-year plan
o Training and Education
o Policies and Procedures
o Roles, responsibilities and MOS
o Inspection, oversight and exception management
§ Design and implement required process and systems changes
§ Establish processes to simulate and recover from potential issues
§ Protect and Safeguard critical assets

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree in Information Management, Software or Software Engineering
· Min 7 + years of Infrastructure and Applications, Program Management (or Development) experience, particularly as relates to requirements of an Engineering and Technology function is a plus.
· Min 3 + years experience managing e-security and/or compliance functions or activities within a large global business.
