Director Marketing Finance PepsiCo White Plains

The Marketing Finance Director supporting CSDs is the key contact responsible for providing the financial expertise and recommendations that enable effective decision-making for all CSD and Energy innovation initiatives and brand performance. This role works very closely with the SVP of Mountain Dew and VP of Pepsi (and their teams) to evaluate individual product innovation, help set long-term growth strategies, and develop/monitor key performance metrics. Additionally, the role has numerous accountabilities related to the annual SBP and AOP processes.

Specific responsibilities include:

Serve as Finance business partner to Marketing for CSD and Energy categories
Own all detailed financial analyses and Stage Gate support for CSD and Energy product/platform innovation, including P&L / business case development, innovation volume forecasts, and identification of risks and success metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, and Revenue Management to develop economics for product innovations
Provide insightful analysis of business results to senior management and perform ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem solving and business improving recommendations
Lead strategic business plans (SBP) and annual operating plan (AOP) development in collaboration with Marketing and sector FP&A teams - in particular identifying and owning overall innovation builds and "sizing the prize" on innovation opportunities
Support ongoing brand and innovation reporting and performance management as well as ad hoc senior management requests/analyses/strategic projects
Manage team of three to accomplish all objectives while providing appropriate training, thought leadership, timely feedback and mentoring

Education/Certification:

MBA/Masters in Finance or other Strategic Business area
10-15 years Corporate Finance / FP&A experience, preferably within CPG
Understanding of accounting / finance principles Experience with FSR, STAR2, Essbase & IRI
Bachelor's Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)

Work Experience:

10-15 years of progressive responsibility with supervisory experience, in some of the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control. Functional finance experience is a plus (e.g. Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Procurement etc.)
