The market leading Distressed Products Group’s US desk focuses on market making, and providing liquidity to clients across a number of products issued by stressed or distressed issuers, or issuers in stressed or distressed industries. DPG typically trades with large institutional investors. Products traded include public and private bonds (including convertible bonds), private equity, single name credit default swaps (“CDS”) and recovery swaps, options, warrants, restructured proceeds, loans, and trade claims. The desk is also a leading provider of special situations financing to stressed and distressed issuers.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out fundamental analysis on sectors and specific credits
Work with sales and trading to facilitate trading activity
Develop trade ideas
Assist with the management of risk positions
Build relationships with clients, advisors, management teams and industry professionals
You will have:
You will work in DB’s 60 Wall Street office to strengthen the existing Desk Analyst/Trading Strategist team and further enhance the industry leading franchise of the Distressed Products Group in the U.S. The candidate will have:
experience working with financial statements and modeling company projections;
Significant company valuation experience;
Desire to work in a fast paced, team environment;
Effective communication skills;
Strong/efficient excel modeling skills; and
Track record of trade idea generation
