This position will provide strategic oversight of a broad, comprehensive program of independent internal audits of Company organizations and external audits of Company vendors, contractors, franchisees, licensees, and others as required
Watch: Career Advice Mentor/lead/develop others; strategic focus and foster strategic alliances; define and develop business plan; policy maker; goals and objectives management – broad focus; executive level relationship with field/vendors; maintain executive level relationships with field
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field required
Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Management Accountant required
Additional education strongly preferred
EXPERIENCE:
10 – 15+ years of professional-level auditing experience in an environment that provides exposure to both operational and financial auditing procedures as well as report writing

Demonstrated ability to lead a functional area of the company and make critical business decisions
Experience solving difficult business issues with creative solutions
Superior coaching skills
Ability to develop company-wide strategies and goals
Provide leadership on company culture initiatives
Able to interact with high-level decision makers
Strong conceptual and analytical skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of company personnel
Ability to establish credibility with “C-Level” clients and internal executives
Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles as applied to a public/international company
Thorough knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards as specified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors
