Director Agency Under Armour New York City

Job Description:
Under Armour Connected Fitness Media Group, the world’s largest connected fitness advertising platform with over 140M+ registered users, is looking for a Director of North American Agency Partnerships to lead strategic relationships with the world’s leading advertising agencies and holding companies. Based out of New York City, NY this position will work with the enterprise sales team to drive and expand new revenue opportunities via agency and holding company partners. This role will report directly to the Head of North America Media & Advertising

Responsibilities



· Develop strategic sales plans for selling into agencies in conjunction with the direct enterprise sales team.

· Promote UACF Media within the broader advertising agency community, using innovative on-site event and in-person activations including (workshops, road shows, and summits)

· Position UACF Media as the thought leader and trusted partner in the connected fitness space for strategic agency clients (CPG, Automotive, Retail, Insurance)

· Identify sales and business development opportunities, and keep strong executive level relationships with agency influencers and decision makers.

· Develop best practices and benchmarking initiatives to optimize agency relationships.

· Analyze data, trends and agency performance, develop solid strategic sales plans and prepare and conduct presentations.

·Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with agencies and to serve as an evangelist at targeted events and conferences.

· Champion new product releases, internally and externally.

· Provide management with weekly sales updates and monthly financial progress reports

· Collaborate with PR, industry pubs and internal stakeholders to promote partnerships and ongoing initiatives



Ideal Candidate Requirements

· Passion for health and fitness…. thrive in a team atmosphere, but ability to work independently

· Existing senior agency relationships

·Member of the ad tech community. Public speaking experience at industry events, on industry committees or boards.

· 7 - 10 Years+ of digital media, marketing, advertising, and brand management experience

· 4 year college degree

·Comprehensive understanding of the digital media landscape including current IAB standards and best in class negotiation, and strategic selling skills.

· Understanding of the connected device and wearable opportunity as it relates to advertising

· Proven track record of effective sales/operations management and strategic planning in high pressured sales environments

· Outstanding communication with all levels of decision-makers, gatekeepers and influencers

· Athlete/team minded…. goal-oriented and passion for winning
