As a Complex Claims Director for Financial Institutions claims, you will be responsible for handling a pending case load of 90-120 complex claim files. These are high exposure claims for financial institution insureds, including securities class and shareholder derivative actions, complex consumer class actions and regulatory inquiries. The position requires interacting with insureds, brokers, underwriters and counsel to work towards claim resolutions.

Position Requirements:
Ideal candidate should have:

*Six to nine (6 to 9) years experience handling complex insurance claims or other comparable experience.
*Excellent negotiation skills.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Comprehensive understanding of litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes.
*Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
*JD, MBA or CPCU is preferred.
