Purpose
- To support market access for Boston Scientific's technology and to ensure that viable health economic and reimbursement strategies are developed and implemented across the region. In line with business objectives and resource constraints, develop and maintain viable health economics and reimbursement organization in Region.

Responsibilities

- Lead the Health Economics Center of Excellence. Leverage talent and initiatives across functions to achieve BSC objectives.
- Assure development of global evidence generation strategies for key BSC technologies. Assure development of appropriate evidence maps and identify clinical and HE gaps.
- Assure development of relevant cost-effectiveness models, budget-impact models, claim-based analyses, and other health economic models and analysis to be leveraged globally
- Assure development and implementation publication strategy, global alignment and visibility for all businesses. Develop standards to avoid conflicting models/publications and review process to ensure adherence to standards.
- Ensure appropriate input into design of BSC-sponsored clinical studies and ISRs
- Support submission of health economic evidence for reimbursement and HTA purposes at the country level
- Support HE input into NBD and NPD due diligence
- Mentor and coach for health economists and outcomes researchers within Boston Scientific
- Represent Boston Scientific at major health economics symposium and forums
- Global collaboration, with businesses, regions, and functions to leverage HE capabilities, tools and knowledge
- Develop and maintain sites to share clinical papers, models, and BSC publications by major therapy
- Ensure quality systems, culture, policies that drive results.
