As a Team Lead, Americas Account Management you manage and coach within a diverse high-performing team of 5-6 Account Managers, sharing your knowledge of online marketing and advising them on the best strategy for them to achieve their desired results with our partners. You also work with the Account Managers (AMs) leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations to drive strong execution upon key levers across our varied book of business for accelerating business growth, account performance, and partner satisfaction.

You are product- and industry-savvy, and are willing to roll up your sleeves to work directly with your AMs and their partners across verticals. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate a team, and you take an analytical approach to sales leadership. Among your many attributes, you are comfortable with a rapidly changing environment, and you have a strong desire to learn.

This role requires some travel (~10%) to periodically accompany/coach Account Managers on strategic partner trips and to attend events.

Responsibilities
Manage, coach, and grow 5-6 Channel Sales Account Managers (AMs)
Forecast, report, and deliver on business growth goals and other key metrics, including tracking progress
Work with other AM leaders to develop a comprehensive strategy for Account Management
Implement processes to help facilitate AMs in driving business growth and solving partner problems
Lead cross-functional teams toward common goal of scaling Account Management and/or hitting business growth generating targets
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in account management, sales, partner management, or other client facing roles.
1 year of experience managing people.

Preferred qualifications:
MBA
Relevant experience in developing channel or agency businesses or working with small business merchants
In-depth knowledge of AdWords, campaign building and optimization, as well as relevant Google advertising solutions, tools and policies.
Excellent business planning, problem solving, cross-functional project management, and analytical skills including a good understanding of wide range of tools and processes that can be used to improve operational efficiencies and workflows
Proven record leading teams, with history of growing careers and skill sets of direct reports or other colleagues. Strong leadership, influencing, organization, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Understanding of how AdWords partners leverage platforms to scale their operations
