This position is responsible for developing and implementing the Resource Conservation strategy and programs for the Cold Fill business in North America to meet PepsiCo's internal and external conservation goals.

The primary responsibilities and projects the person in this role is responsible for include:
Developing the strategic approach to continuously reduce the amount of energy and water required to manufacture cold fill products in North America
Leading the implementation of water, energy, and solid waste conservation programs and ensuring cold fill operations meet their annual conservation and productivity targets

Preparing project design engineering and cost estimates to support CapEx proposals for approval by PAB Supply Chain leadership teams
Investigating and recommending new and emerging technologies that can be deployed in PAB to reduce manufacturing energy and water use
Leading behavior-based conservation programs in manufacturing plants that ensure all operations and maintenance staff take an active role in conservation
Tracking and reporting plant performance against conservation goals and implementing contingency plans when the Cold Fill business is at risk of failing to meet goals
Tracking and managing cold fill capital budgets ensuring that projects are implemented on schedule and within cost expectations
Providing leadership and direction to conservation staff, plant managers and the Cold Fill Leadership team to ensure they meet their conservation and productivity goals
Present CapEx proposals and conservation strategies to all levels in the organization.
Organizing the Resource Conservation team's participation in Operations AOP meeting
Communicating strategy and progress to business and engineering leaders in a clear and concise manner
Developing and mentoring team members to ensure their continued growth.
Candidates must possess the following education and experience to qualify for this position:
Engineering degree (BS) from an accredited university and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing or a closely-related field.
Minimum 3 years' leading projects or programs of increasing complexity
Demonstrated experience developing strategies to meet core business objectives and proven results implementing strategic plans
Demonstrated experience communicating to all levels in an organization and managing multiple external contractors and budgets
Preference will be given to candidates with advanced degrees and/or previous experience designing and implementing conservation-related capital projects (HVAC, membrane filtration, boilers, heat exchangers, renewable energy, insulation, air compressors, refrigeration, etc.).
