We are seeking a Managing Art Director, Production Technology, who will be responsible for identifying and implementing Graphic technologies & workflows that improve the overall on-air graphic experience. Expertise in Interactive and Augmented graphics, as well as driving a connection to the digital properties, is a must.

Oversee all real time graphics development and creation for NBC Network News and MSNBC. This includes Interactive, Augmented, and Digital executions.
Utilize various technologies, including VizRT, Orad, & Chyron, to develop new real time graphics and virtual reality elements from concept to implementation, including design and logic building.
Assist engineering in designing and troubleshooting systems, including critical on-air products.
Build effective relationships with both internal and external clients.
Work closely with Art Directors and shows to take animations from concept in After Effects to working in Real-Time.
Integrate data with real time graphics.
Train both artists and engineers on hardware and software systems.
Work with operations to build executable project timelines for new real time graphics scenes.
Develop plan for automating graphics into control room automation systems.
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Art Direction/Design or Motion Graphics.
Must have at least 10 years’ experience with real-time graphics development, preferably with television.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
