HR M&A Director SAP Palo Alto

The HR M&A Director is actively involved in various stages of the M&A processes. The incumbent will assist in setting up, delivering and monitoring the HR Programs that are necessary for a successful M&A projects. The Position Holder is deeply involved in large scale and often complex integrations of new acquisitions both within HR and across SAP’s organization if required to deliver major impact to HR and its customers.

Key tasks / requirements of the job are:

Effectively Lead cross-functional teams engaged in M&A projects.
Resourcefully navigate in SAP’s global corporate environment and support results through effective syndication and superior execution
Play an active role in all aspects of M&A project set up, execution and monitoring including identifying issues, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations.
Align & engage with key stakeholders including strong liaison with Senior Management within SAP and at acquisition target companies
Ensure cross-project alignment within and outside HR together with project teams
Strong SAP HR experience in a variety of disciplines with an emphasis on HRBP is extremely helpful.
Extensive experience in program / project management in M&A contexts (including HR due diligence and post-merger integration) desirable


Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies

15years + of experience contributing to complex, large scale programs and projects in a supporting role including implementation and roll out.

Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or equivalent
Experience with planning and developing creative integration strategies and approaches that will meet business objectives and be consistent with the acquisition rationale
Strong business consulting and project/program management skills including all needed methods and techniques for project/ program management excellence
Well developed analytical skills, including the ability to undertake sophisticated analysis
Proven track record of success on strategic and operational projects
Extensive experience in SAP HR processes and systems is desirable
Excellent communication (written & verbal), facilitation, coaching, networking and listening capabilities
Respected as a leader - Influential in the organization and a team player -
Active listener, open to other views and capable of seeing the many sides of the situations
Strong presentation skills and the ability to design and prepare high-impact presentations
Experience in working closely with Senior Management
Willingness to look for pragmatic high-quality solutions and work on their execution in a dynamic working environment. (“Can-do mentality”).
Proficiency in MS Office Tools
Ideally located in the PST time zone
